JUST A FEW OF MANY TESTIMONIALS
“In 2019 I first auditioned for Sunriver Stars Community Theater for Sweet Surrender. From then on, I was hooked! Sunriver Stars Community Theatre gave me a chance to develop my ability by believing in me and casting me in roles that challenged me. It quickly became my safe place to grow, be accepted and challenged by many talented actors, directors, and especially the community! Sunriver Stars will forever be my theater home.”

“A Sunriver Stars production is a great place for a beginner to start. The group is very welcoming and supportive. Explore your interests with acting, set work, makeup, or costumes. I have enjoyed my time and experiences with this group plus there is also a great cast party afterwards.”

The few years that I was a part of the Sunriver Stars Community Theater enhanced my spirit and gave me an opportunity to spread joy to the Sunriver Community. Interacting with a span of different age groups in the casts was a delight. As an older person, I was reborn.
I felt that our productions were on a high level and I have had over 70 years of theater experience in several states.

One of the most rewarding aspects of performing in a Sunriver Stars play is seeing the cast and crew come together at the start of practice. Many don’t even know each other. But as we progress through rehearsals, we become a tight knit group with everyone pitching in and supporting each other. In the end we put on this amazing show and accomplished more than we thought we could, and made new friends.
