Our theater is a community theater, and we keep our ticket prices very low to make it affordable for everyone to attend our plays. But that means that our ticket sales generate only 30% to 35% of the revenue necessary to cover all the production costs of our shows, including licensing fess, scripts, and royalties; costumes, props, and construction of sets; general administrative expenses like rental of storage units, insurance, and office expenses.
