Based on the beloved novel, Anne of Green Gables tells the story of Anne Shirley, a feisty red-haired orphan, who is sent mistakenly to siblings Matthew and Marilla on Prince Edward Island in the early 1900s. Infusing a unique passion into the everyday lives of the quiet town, Anne charms the small community into loving her imaginative and precocious mind. Anne of Green Gables charmingly explores the conflict between social expectations and the remedy of imagination.
