2026 STARS KIDS DRAMA CAMP Registration opens April 15, 2026

What do you know about frogs? Did you know that they create “Theater Magic”? KERMIT THE FROG has his own TV Show, so acting, singing, telling jokes, and performing is for YOU! Who knows? Maybe you’ll get a TV show too. For sure you’ll be having fun at our camp!

The Final Day Showcase for parents, family, and friends will be Friday, July 24th, at the Sunriver Nature Center Amphitheater 2:30 PM – 6 PM

The Sunriver Stars Community Theater is proud to present our 8th Annual Kids Drama Camp to the children of our community!

This performing arts program is presented FREE of charge!

Under the direction of SSCT Creative Director Victoria Kristy and Administrative Director Jan Bossom, children and teens enrolled in the program will SHINE!

Programs

Children Workshops, 5 – 12yrs

Theatre Foundations Workshop
Students will learn performing arts fundamentals through hands-on workshops. Classes will include singing, acting, movement and dance lessons. Students will have an opportunity to showcase their learned skills and talents in a performance of “Summer Magic”.

The Sunriver Stars Community Theater KIDS Drama Camp presented “Willy Wonka, Jr. – A Musical Revue,” a student showcase featuring local young people in a fun, innovative production which included live-action along with performances previously recorded and merged into a video. The student showcase wrapped up a 10-week program of education in the performing arts sponsored by the Sunriver-La Pine Rotary Club and The DOOR church in Sunriver. The video is available on the Stars’ YouTube channel.
