Sunriver Stars Community Theater (SSCT) is an all volunteer local community performing arts that is center committed to bringing live theater and theater arts education opportunities to all adults and children in the greater Deschutes County area. We are also committed to allowing everyone who wishes to join in the fun and to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering mutual respect for the diverse beliefs and values of all individuals and groups. SSCT takes the rights of our LGBTQ+ supporters very seriously. It is our belief that all are welcome to join and participate.
Our approach as an all volunteer organization is to have everyone who tries out for a part in a play, or volunteers to help in any way, whether as a backstage crew member, or as a volunteer board member, that they feel appreciated, special, and part of our Theater Family.
