SSCT Celebrates 10 Years of Theater Magic

Sunriver Stars Community Theater (SSCT) is thrilled to be back on the stage for our 2022 season. As we celebrate our 10th Anniversary with three amazing shows, plus a children’s summer drama camp; we welcome you back and thank you for your support over the years.

Audience Safety

SSCT is committed to the health and safety of our audience members, performers and volunteers. SSCT will continue to monitor health guidelines and update our policies as necessary based on Oregon Health Authority (OHA) recommendations, as well as federal mandates as applicable. Following are the health and safety protocols which SSCT has implemented to ensure the well being of our guests and participants.

Masks:  Recommended – Not Required

In light of the fact that the OHA lifted the Indoor Masking Mandate on March 12th, 2022; SSCT no longer requires audience members to wear face coverings to attend a performance. Although masks are no longer required; SSCT will support the decision of any guest, staff, crew, volunteer or performer who chooses to continue wearing masks at their personal discretion.

“Governor Kate Brown announced on February 28, 2022, in concert with the governors of California and Washington, that indoor mask requirements will be lifted at 11:59 p.m. on March 11, 2022.”

Healthy Attendance Standards

Although vaccinations and face coverings are not required for audience members at this time, SSCT highly recommends that guests be vaccinated against COVID-19 for their optimum health and safety protection.

We respectfully request that you stay home if you have been feeling ill or have been exposed to an ill person. Furthermore, we kindly ask that you do not enter the building if you are experiencing symptoms of any kind or if you have not fulfilled the proper quarantine time when you have been exposed. If you would like to be tested, health services provider Curative offers COVID-19 testing at a location in the Old Mill District. Please contact Curative.com to register for your free test.

PLEASE NOTE:  An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By choosing to participate in a Sunriver Stars Community Theater show, participants and patrons voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

SSCT Complies with OHA Guidelines Regarding COVID-19

Current state and federal recommendations and guidelines may affect evolving industry best practices. SSCT will continue to monitor OHA health guidelines in order to keep our health and safety policies up to date.
